108 more mothers awarded Vietnamese Heroic Mother title
TTH.VN - On the afternoon of April 20, the provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee solemnly held a ceremony to confer the State Honorary title of "Vietnamese Heroic Mother" to 108 mothers and 15 Independence Medals to families with meritorious services to the revolution.

Participants included Mr. Le Truong Luu, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Council; Mr. Bui Thanh Ha, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Cao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Cao affirmed that the posthumous conferment of the noble title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother shows the Party's mind, the people's love, and the recognition of the Fatherland for the great merit and the immense sacrifice of the Mothers. It is so proud that Thua Thien Hue heroic book has an inclusion of 108 more Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, bringing the total number in the whole province to 2,255 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.
At the same time, the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee suggested that the Party committees, authorities, agencies, committees, branches, unions and socio-political organizations pay more attention and care to families with meritorious services, as well as promote the movement of gratitude, which is the responsibility, the conscience, and the moral of each person.
