The forest is dominated by Melaleuca leucadendra, which is capable of growing well in freshwater areas, suitable for natural conditions in many areas of the province.

As planned, about 20 hectares of freshwater forest will be planted in this phase. This forest is not only to protect the crops, aquaculture and residential areas in the typhoon season, but also to orient tourism development in the O Lau estuary.
