On the afternoon of June 28, a gallery of artists with disabilities named "New Days 2018" was opened at Song Huong Magazine’s office.
Solemn but cosy opening ceremony
The exhibition features 22 works by four artists: Le Thi My Binh (from Yen Bai), Nguyen Tan Hien (from Da Nang), Le Quang Linh (from Ha Tinh), and Pham Dinh Thai (from Thua Thien Hue). The works, which are made in various styles and with different materials such as acrylic, watercolor, and lacquer, etc., depict life, people and hometown landscapes.
The exhibition is part of the cultural space development program and “Tinh Song Huong” (“Love for the Huong River”) program aiming to encourage the artists to raise themselves up in life with their own ability and to integrate with the community as the messages their works want to send to the flow of life.
Mr. Ho Dang Thanh Ngoc, Editor-in-Chief of Song Huong Magazine, offers flowers and certificates to artists.
This is the third exhibition for artists with disabilities ever organized by Song Huong Magazine. The first was in 2012 with the theme "Desire", and the second in 2013 with the theme “New Days”.
The exhibition opens until July 5.
