At the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thanh Binh, Rector of Hue University College of Arts said that the College had developed its cooperation with many universities of Fine Arts in Thailand in the fields of art training, exchanging lecturers, organizing bilateral exhibitions and workshops.

Contemporary art exhibition is one of the results of the cooperation. However, there is  some significant differences worth  noticing in the college’s international cooperation when it  opens its arms towards the Associations of Thailand artists. The opening of the lacquer exhibition and workshop on May 31 is a useful art activity that the two sides collaborate to create new values in studying and exploring the traditional values of culture and art of each people.
