The architects, painters, and artists participating in the journey on heritage sketching in 2022
With the participation of over 80 architects, painters, artists, children, and sketching-lovers in Hue and Ha Noi, the activity contributes to the preservation, promotion, and honoring the cultural values of Hue heritage in general and Hue fine arts in particular.
Taking place from March 18 to 22, the artists will take composing trips at Uncle Ho’s house at Duong No village, Imperial Citadel, Khai Dinh Tomb, Tu Duc Tomb, Vong Canh Hill, Tinh Tam Lake, Van Thanh, Bao Quoc, Tu Hieu, Dieu De pagodas, Phuoc Tich Ancient Village, Hue Singing on the Huong River, etc.
Thereby, tangible and intangible heritages with the Citadel, palaces, temples, royal tombs, ancient monuments, and unique architectural works associated with the history of the Nguyen Dynasty, as well as the folk architecture, natural landscapes, Hue garden houses, etc., will be “preserved” through art by the artists.
The high-quality artworks will be displayed and published in the publication “Sketching Hue cultural heritages 2022” in Hue Festival 2022.
