A French-Vietnamese love story
The film titled "Red Sky” (Ciel Rouge), made by French cinema and shot entirely in the northern mountainous areas of Vietnam, has been screened in Hue from October 27 to November 3.
In the setting of war, the film tells a love story between a French soldier and a Vietnamese girl. During the mission, the soldier was shocked when forced to torture the girl. Being too dissatisfied with the war and feeling pity for the Vietnamese girl, he decided to free her and they fled together. Then, they gradually realized the love for each other. However, their love was torn by reason and reality that they had to make the decisive choices of their life.
