A photo collection of Áo Tấc - to promote the significant values of our ancestors

TTH.VN - Under the Nguyen Dynasty, Áo Tấc was one of the most popular clothes worn by all walks of life, from the King to the commoners.

Travelling around the world through CosplayRobe for the king of the Nguyen dynasty

Áo Tấc, otherwise known as the ceremonial robe, usually consisted of a knee-length five-paneled tunic with long, loose sleeves, buttoned on the right and worn over a white undershirt, white pants, and a wrapping scarf around the head. The robe dates back to the attire reform under the reign of Lord Nguyễn Phúc Khoát in the former lands of Thuận Hóa and Quảng Nam.

Let’s enjoy the graceful beauty of Áo tấc through the photo collection “Áo Tấc –promoting the significant values of our ancestors”, which has just been taken by Doan Quang, a photographer, at Hue relics.
