Adding 27 tram-lines to serve tourists

TTH.VN - From 23th August, there will be 10 more tramcars operating at 27 tram-lines to the southern area of the Perfume River (Thua Thien Hue), to serve domestic and international tourists.

Tramcars transport tourists to go sightseeing around Hue Citadel area.

Those tramcars are invested by Hoang Thanh Trading Investment JSC to attend to travellers to many destinations such as Tu Duc tomb, Nam Giao Esplanade, Tu Hieu pagoda, Thien Mu pagoda, President Ho Chi Minh memorial house at Mai Thuc Loan street, Dong Ba market,… and some resorts, ecotourism destinations in the environs of Hue city.

That is the content of Decision No. 4933 / UBND-GT, dated 22/8 of the provincial People's Committee to allow the expansion of tramcar operation to transport tourists to the southern area of the Perfume River.

Previously, tramcar transport activities just served visitors to some of destinations in the northern area of the Perfume River.

Expanding more tram-lines to serve tourists is one of the contents of the Project on the planning and development of public passenger transport network in Hue to 2020, directed to 2030 which was approved by the provincial People's Committee.
