Currently, this method has not been practiced in any hospital in Vietnam. The application of this technology has helped parents reduce pessimistic attitude when they bring their children for treatment at Children's Center, Hue Central Hospital, reducing the rate of treatment abandonment. Besides that, the hospital’s leaders have also actively mobilized domestic and international humanitarian organizations in supporting drugs and living allowances for children with cancer.

Doctor of speciality II Phan Xuan Mai, Deputy Director of Children’s Center, Hue Central Hospital said that on average doctors in the department examine and treat 40 pediatric cancer inpatients and about 20 outpatients each day. Until now, the department has treated more than 100 cases resulting in stable health, reintegrating into the community, many of whom have now gone to colleges and universities. If children with cancer are detected and treated timely, the recovered rate will reach about 70%.
