Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee visits and works in Seoul - Korea

On the morning of November 1, 2017, at the city hall in Seoul – Korea, Mr. Gyoung-Gee Liu, Deputy Mayor of Seoul City met and worked with the delegation of Thua Thien Hue province led by Mr. Nguyen Van Cao - Chairman of Provincial People's Committee.

At the working meeting, they exchanged information and discussed issues of mutual concern. Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Cao briefly introduced about Thua Thien Hue province and some projects Korean investors have cooperated with Thua Thien Hue recently. Especially Thua Thien Hue General Hospital was built from the Korean ODA capital source.  Korea has also helped Thua Thien Hue to make a master plan for Hue city development to 2030, and they are supporting the deployment of parts of the plan. Besides that, there are some projects of Korean investors in the Thua Thien Hue province area, including 2 industrial zone infrastructure projects. Some big Korean investors are coming to research to invest in the field of tourism, resort, solar power, industrial zone infrastructure. On this occasion, the Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee invited the Mayor, the Deputy Mayor and associates to attend Hue Festival 2018 with the theme “Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development - Hue: 1 destination – 5 heritages”, which will take place in 6 days from April 27, 2018 to May 2, 2018.

Mr. Gyoung-Gee Liu, Deputy Mayor of Seoul City also briefly introduced about Seoul Capital and some contents that the city cooperated with Vietnam localities; at the same time, expressing the desire to exchange and cooperate with Thua Thien Hue province, especially in the field of culture and tourism. Deputy Mayor Gyoung-Gee Liu thanked and accepted the invitation of Chairman Nguyen Van Cao to attend Hue Festival 2018 and promised to arrange time to attend Hue Festival 2018.
