Children pick up trash, draw paintings to protect the environment
On the morning of May 26, at 3/2 Park, more than 100 students from schools, and protection centers in Hue city took part in the program “Xanh trong mắt em” (“Green in your eyes”), with the activities including picking up trash and drawing propaganda paintings calling for environmental protection.
Many children were interested in the meaningful program on the weekend day
The program was co-organized by DMZ Tourist Joint Stock Company, the Green Lotus Fund of Thua Thien Hue Newspaper, “Thank you, Huong River” Club, and painter Nguyen Thi Anh Mi on the occasion of the International Children's Day and the World Environment Day.
A little girl was focusing on drawing her painting calling for environmental protection
With the message towards a life fulfilled with green: green in the environment, green in life, green in thoughts and feelings, the program "Green in your eyes" desires to continue to carry out more and more activities related to the environment, art, and local connection, etc., so that the students will not only be good in terms of knowledge, but also be active, creative, and freely show their aptitude in practice.
On this occasion, the program also presented supporting gifts to children in difficult circumstances from Xuan Phu Social Center.
