Classical Music Festival coming to Hue

In Hue, there will be only one night of VNCMF with “Young talent showcase” theme, at 20:00 on August 26^th, in Hue Academy of Music (No.1 Le Loi, Hue city)

Vietnam Connection Music Festival 2017 (VNCMF)

According to organization board, in comparison with two years ago, this year the Festival’s content has changed, aiming at the variety and diversity. Specifically, Vietnam Connection Music Festival 2017 (VNCMF) offers the audience many different melodies from all over Europe instead of being limited to one theme.

The most special point of this year’s Festival is young artists. Vietnamese students winning international awards will perform in a particular show to serve the music-loving audience. Besides that, during the festival time, they will hold the high-level music lessons for Vietnamese students with the participation of international artists. This activity plays an important role in the organizing team’s goal of connecting Vietnamese music and international music.

VNCMF was founded in 2015 by elite artist Bui Cong Duy and Vu Chuong, Ph.D., one of the most excellent Vietnamese American violin artists. The Music Festival is held with the goal of performing and teaching classical music. Through cultural exchanges, VNCMF hopes to bring academic music closer to music-loving people.

Before taking place in Hue, VNCMF will also perform in two large cities which are Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh city.
