Cordyceps in Hue

TTH.VN - Recently, Narasa Green Agricultural Cooperative in Huong Binh Commune, Huong Tra Town has invested in facilities to cultivate cordyceps, a medicinal plant that’s good for health. Previously, this quite high-value plant only exists in nature.

According to the owner of Narasa Green Agricultural Cooperative, culturing cordyceps in the laboratory requires ensuring the scientific and technical factors, such as sterile culture rooms, balance of natural ventilation and light; equipment with mist spraying system to keep humidity from 70%-85% and cooling system to keep the temperature from 18-20 degrees...

Thanks to meeting these requirements, the model of cultivating cordyceps of Narasa has been successful and is working effectively. Each 1kg of dried cordyceps costs 20-25 million VND. Currently, in addition to Narasa, 3 other bases are also implementing the model of cultivating cordyceps in the province.

To better understand the process of cultivating cordyceps, Thua Thien Hue Weekly would like to introduce a reportage photography of Nguyen Khoa Huy when he witnesses the cordyceps culturing base of Green Agricultural Cooperative Narasa.
