Designing utility spaces for bicycles
Towards the goal of turning Hue into the first "Bicycle city" in Vietnam, Hue Institute for Development Studies in collaboration with the Ashui.com and the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Design Week launched the topic "Designing utility spaces for bicycles in Hue”, in the category of public design within the “Designed by Vietnam” contest in 2022.

The category of public design is open to everyone, from amateurs to design professionals, and students, etc., with unlimited number of design ideas by each contestant or group of contestants.
The design evaluation criteria include: the presentation of the right topic, the element of "by Vietnam", as well as the aesthetics and applicability. Design ideas are required to be digitized and presented in up to five A3 size pages, with detailed description of materials and explanation of ideas (should be to a maximum of 1,000 words).
The designs will be on display in Hue within the framework of the Vietnam Design Week 2022, and proposed to be implemented in the master plan on bicycle and public transport in Hue City.
