Diversifying tourist promotion in 2018

This is the orientation offered by Provincial Tourism Department in 2018

Introducing Thuy Bieu tourism products to the famtrip of UNESCO Travel Club.

In the New Year, the tourism continues to step up the promotion to the major tourist centers in the country; focusing on promoting through social media, tourist websites, and social networks. It also focuses on stepping up the promotion market of the new flight routes such as Nha Trang, Da Lat, North Central Coast and Northeastern provinces, etc; participating in activities of Hue Festival 2018 and activities to celebrate major holidays in 2018, etc.

At the conference of summarizing the promotional mission 2017 and deploying the 2018 mission held by Tourism Promotion Information Center on December 29, Tourism added up well completed missions in 2017 including: collaboration in  propaganda, promotion of Hue traditional craft Festival 2017; display and introduction of tourist publications; provision of  information to support tourists; organization of the contest of making films promoting Hue tourism, and the contest of creating logos and slogans for Thua Thien Hue tourism; organization of the showcase space to introduce and present specialties, traditional handicrafts, and tourism promotion in the event of welcoming Japan's Emperor to Hue; and display of tourist publications in ASEM conference on Innovative Education and Human Resource Building for Sustainable Development.

The tourism sector also takes part in tourist fairs in the country; holding and cooperating in holding famtrip delegations from India, Russia, The United States, Thailand, Korea coming to survey Hue tourist routes and welcoming a group of actors, singers and artists from the band TWICE, the Korea TV network and broadcasting company JTBC making a video to promote tourist images of Thua Thien Hue.
