Encouraging women to participate in transportation
Women's occupation in the transportation sector, and transportation as the employment hub and opportunities for rural women ... are the issues of concern at the "APEC Women in Transportation Forum: Gauging Progress and Moving Forward" held in Hue.
Encouraging women to take part in the transportation sector is one of the goals set at the forum
This is the activity within the framework of the APEC Policy Partnership on Women and the Economy Second Meeting (PPWE 2), attracting the participation of over 150 delegates from 21 APEC economies members.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Ngoc Dong emphasized: "This is an opportunity for us to update and evaluate what we have done in the last two years; at the same time, it is a chance for us to continue to share experiences, initiatives in APEC member economies."
