Financial assistance to roughly 2,800 tour guides
According to the Department of Tourism, about 2,800 tour guides with license in the province affected by the Covid-19 pandemic will receive a one-time lump sum of more than 3.7 million VND (an equivalent to more than 160 US dollars).
Previously, on July 1, 2021, the Government issued Resolution No. 68 on a number of policies to support employees and employers facing financial hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Accordingly, tour guides with license were among those who received one-off financial assistance of more than 3.7 million VND/person, starting from May 1st 2021 to the end of December 31, 2021.
