GS Group from South Korea wants to build a solar power project in Chan May - Lang Co
On the morning of March 13, at the meeting with Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Cao, representatives of Korean GS Group (multi-industry holding group) wished to expand investment in Thua Thien Hue, starting with the Solar power project in Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone.

Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Cao was pleased to welcome the delegation, highly appreciated the fact that GS Group has selected Hue as its investment destination. For many years, the province and some organizations of South Korea have established good relations in the fields of cultural exchanges, labor export, investment co-operation.
South Korea is also actively helping the province with the planning of the two banks of the Perfume River and is continuing to support the planning of Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone. The province welcomes investors from South Korea and carries out significant administrative reform, creating favorable investment environment for investors.

Representatives of GS Group said that the reason for choosing Hue as an investment destination is because Hue has a safe labor market, active government in supporting legal procedures for investors, and more importantly it has an abundant labor force. GS Group has the strengths in building luxurious apartments, transportation, subway, renewable energy, biomass electricity, wind power, etc. They hope that the leaders of the provincial People's Committee will create good conditions and opportunities for them to invest in Hue.
