Hue Festival 2020 will take place from August 26 to August 31, instead of from August 28 to September 2
TTH.VN - The People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province has recently agreed to adjust the time to organize Hue Festival 2020. The festival will take place from August 26 to August 31, 2020, which is 2 days sooner than the before schedule (from August 28 to September 2).
The change in the organization time is to ensure the balance of activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the 60th twinned anniversary among Hanoi, Hue and Saigon organized by the Central Government. Hue was selected as the site for a live broadcast of the anniversary program, scheduled to take place on the evening of September 2. Specifically, Hue Festival 2020 will take place from August 26 to August 31, instead of from August 28 to September 2.
The Hue Festival 2020 Opening Art program will take place at 20:00 on August 26, 2020 at Ngo Mon Square; Ao Dai Fashion Show and Closing Festival take place at 20:00 on August 31, 2020. Other main programs and activities will adjust accordingly to the above period of time.
Hue Festival 2020, in addition to the participation of famous domestic art troupes, will witness the performances of art troupes or artist representatives presenting cultural and artistic works of other countries such as France, Spain, Wallonie-Bruxelles delegation (Belgium) and ASEAN countries.
