Hue Festival 2023 will span the whole year. This has been confirmed by the Provincial People's Committee in the plan of Hue Festival 2023’s activities and the orientation towards the Four Seasons Festival, with a view to organizing a series of festival activities throughout the year.

2023 is the usual year of organizing Hue Traditional Craft Festival. In particular, this is the 30th anniversary of the Complex of Hue Monuments recognized by the UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage, and the 20th anniversary of Hue Royal Court Music Nhã Nhạc recognized as the Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Therefore, these two events will be an important highlight in the series of activities taking place during the year.

Accordingly, with the theme "Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development", Hue Festival 2023 will be held with successive activities throughout the year, starting with the Opening ceremony for the Festival, the Ban Sóc Calendar Issue Ceremony on January 1st, 2023 and ends with the Countdown Program on December 31, 2023.

In addition, different highlights can also be seen through the four-season festivals: the Spring festival themed "Spring in the Ancient Capital", the Summer festival themed "The Citadel shines", the Autumn festival "Hue entering autumn", and the winter festival "Winter in the land of Hue."
