Hue’s Archery team reaches the national record

Taking place from July 01st - 10th in Vinh Long province, the National Junior Archery Championships 2019 gathered nearly 200 archers from 19 provinces, cities and sectors with strength in archery to compete for 36 sets of medals for recurve bow (one string) and compound bow (three strings).
Thua Thien Hue’s team had 4 archers to compete in the content of recurve bow with the following distance: 30m, 40m, 50m, 60m and all-round. At the end of the 60m content for women's doubles on the morning of July 8th - the team’s final competition, coach Lai Dang Quang and his students excellently won 1 gold medal, 1 bronze medal and ranked 6th.
Winning the gold medal for women's 60m distance with 336 points, archer Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhi reached the national record set by archer Nguyen Thi Phuong (Phu Tho province) in 2017 so far.
