Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy won First Prize of “Vietnam Talent Awards 2017”

TTH.VN - On 27th December afternoon, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy was honored to receive the Vietnam Talent Awards 2017 in Medicine attended by Mr. Nguyen Viet Tien, Vice Minister of Health; Mr. Nguyen Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The award was given to the cluster of scientific research project "The application of advanced techniques in female reproductive health care and improving the quality of population" led by Prof. Cao Ngoc Thanh, Rector of the University.

This cluster of scientific research project consists of 3 topics: "Research on application of advanced techniques in screening for preeclampsia – eclampsia and preventive clinical protocol", “ Research on application of endoscopic surgery for infertility due to tubal and peritoneal factors in Central and Highland regions "," Study on the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) infection and cervical injury of women in Thua Thien Hue province and preventative strategies".

University of Medicine and Pharmacy – Hue University is one of the two universities in the country receiving the "Vietnam Talent Awards 2017” in Medicine (the other is Cho Ray Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City).
