Implementing the 2018 sustainable poverty reduction program
TTH.VN - According to the Plan No.9 of the Provincial People’s Committee on deploying the national target program for sustainable poverty reduction in 2018, the whole province strives for reducing the poor household rate down to 4.92% from 5.98%.
To reach that target, 100% of communes which have achieved the new rural standards and 100% communes registering to achieve the new rural standards in 2018 strive to have a poor household rate of under 5%; support 15,000 poor households, near-poor households, and newly escaped from poverty households to be provided with preferential credit loans from the Bank for Social Policies; support vocational training for 1,200 local labors, especially poor labors or ethnic minority labors, etc.
The fund for the national target program of sustainable poverty reduction in 2018 is from the Central budget, local budget and mobilization of other legal sources. According to the Provincial People’s Committee’s plan for allocating funds, the total capital for implementing the national target program of sustainable poverty reduction in 2018 in the provincial area is VND 68,803 billion (in which the development investment capital is VND 47,197 billion, and the non-business capital is VND 21,606 billion).
