Kathina ceremony held at Huyen Khong pagoda

The Kathina ceremony was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Thailand to Vietnam and his wife, and representative leaders of the Provincial Commission for Mass Mobilisation, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Provincial Committee for Religious Affairs, and the Provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee.

The Kathina ceremony is one of the official traditional rituals of Theravada Buddhism. The ceremony includes the Kathina ritual, making offerings to the monks, etc.
