“Nang am mua xuan” Festival for children at social centers
On the afternoon of January 11th, at Hue SOS Children's Village, the Youth Union in collaboration with the provincial Association for the Protection of Children's Rights organized the program of “Nang am mua xuan” (Spring Warm Sunlight) festival for disadvantaged children at centers for nurturing and supporting orphans and children with disabilities in the province.

This year, the festival was organized with many practical and meaningful activities that brought lots of joy to disadvantaged children.
In addition to enjoying the cozy party, the children also directly participated in and watched many elaborate musical performances. The highlight of the festival was the children’s contest for presenting jams and candies. With the theme “Mua xuan cho em” (The Spring for you), each team had 90 minutes to complete their presentation.
At the end of the program, the organizers awarded more than VND 20 million to shelters and facilities that won at the contest. In addition, each shelter received a support of VND 1 million. The total budget of more than VND 40 million was mobilized from philanthropists and businesses for this festival.
