National Van, Chau Van singing Festival to take place in Hue
The Grassroots Cultural Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) said that the National Festival on Van, Chau Van singing would take place in Thua Thien Hue province from April 25 to April 29.
The National Van, Chau Van singing Festival 2018 will take place in Thua Thien Hue.
This is a cultural activity within the framework of Festival Hue 2018 to honor, promote and develop the artistic values of Van, Chau Van singing. This activity also contributes to raising the awareness of the community in preserving the artistic values of this form of art in "The practice of the belief in Mother Goddesses" recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
The festival praises the Party, Uncle Ho, the solidarity, love of the country, people and tradition of building the country. It also praises the achievements in the process of industrialization and modernization of the country, etc.
