The graduate students will study for 2.5 years. In the first year, all students are required to complete a total of 8 subjects for both environmental and agriculture majors.
The curriculum is designed to provide students with perspectives not only on a local level but also on an international level on rural environmental management and sustainable agricultural development. The following 6 months is dedicated to studying Japanese and preparing content for research.
After studying for 1.5 years at Hue University, students will move to Japan to continue their one-year final study at Okayama University (Japan) and receive a master degree from Okayama University.
Previously, 80 students of the first 10 courses of the program have graduated with the following results: 52 students continued to pursue their doctorate studies in Japan and other countries; the remaining students are working in different provinces and cities in related professional fields.
The bilateral training cooperation program has opened up a long-term cooperation prospect between Okayama University and Hue University in the field of agriculture and environment, thereby creating a premise for long-term cooperation in many different areas in the future.
