Opening the exhibition "German-Vietnamese cooperation through photos" in Hue
On the evening of June 25, the exhibition "German-Vietnamese cooperation through photos" organized by the German Embassy in Vietnam, the Goethe Institute and the Vietnam-Germany Friendship Association in Thua Thien Hue province opened at Hue Museum of Culture.
German Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Christian Berger and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Phan Ngoc Tho attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
The exhibition introduces to people the highlights of German-Vietnamese relations
The exhibition introduced to viewers 19 photos showing the connection between the two countries Vietnam - Germany. They are images of Vietnamese people coming to Germany to live, study and work, as well as the Germans who come to Vietnam to work and participate in Vietnamese assistance projects. The photos displayed at the exhibition are part of Nicolaus Schmidt's "Vietnamese - German" picture book, showcasing the highlights of German - Vietnamese relations.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Christian Berger, the German Ambassador in Vietnam shared: “I love Hue because of the history and people of this city as well as the cooperative relationship which joins us. This exhibition is a biography page that reflects the Vietnamese Germany history that we would like to introduce to you.”
The exhibition takes place until July 7.
* On the same evening, the German-SCHLINGEL Film Festival organized by the Goethe Institute also opened at Dong Ba Cinema.
Taking place from June 25 to 29, the German-SCHLINGEL Film Festival presents 5 excellent films of German cinema, including: "Simple", "Little Witch", " Matti and Sami and the Three Biggest Mistakes in the Universe", "Supa Modo", and "Jim Button and Luke the Engine Driver".
This film festival promises to bring unique films with exciting moments. Audiences will be able to watch movies free of all genres, including family films, comedy, adventure, fantasy and mythical films. Most films focus on children and young people with strong personalities, adventurous spirits and rich imagination.
