Parade of ancient motorbikes to promote Hue tourism

TTH.VN - On the morning of July 9, the Provincial Department of Tourism in collaboration with the Provincial Tourism Association and accompanying agencies organized a parade of antique motorbikes.

This activity aims to celebrate the 62nd founding anniversary of the country’s tourism sector (July 9, 1960 - July 9, 2022); and continue to implement solutions to reopen tourism activities in the new normal; at the same time, it shows the determination and companionship of the tourism sector in the implementation of the plan to stimulate demand and resume tourism activities in 2022.

The parade consists of 62 motorbikes, which are mainly ancient motorbike models of the Vespa, Honda 67, and the Mobylette from Hue Antique Motorcycles Association and a number of travel agencies specializing in offering antique motorcycle experience tours for visitors.

The parade moved through some main routes of Hue City, which are associated with a number of film sets and tourist attractions. It started from Le Loi Street, and went through Dien Bien Phu Street, Nguyen Hue Street, Nguyen Truong To Street, Phu Cam Bridge, Phan Chu Trinh Street, Kho Ren Bridge, Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Dong Da Street, Hung Vuong Street, Truong Tien Bridge, Tran Hung Dao Street (passing through Dong Ba Market)..., Nguyen Phuc Nguyen Street (stopped to check-in at the Lan Vien Co Tich), Kim Long Street, and kept travelling through Da Vien Bridge, Bui Thi Xuan Street, Le Loi Street, and finished at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted.

This activity aims to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere, promoting the provincial tourism sector in the context of gradual strong recovery of the tourism service business activities; contributing to fostering the promotion of local tourist destinations and activities...
