Within the program, the children experienced a joyful day of going to the supermarket to buy clothes and school supplies, watching the “Lion King” movie at Cinestar cinema, eating fried chicken, and having fun in a loving atmosphere with members of Phuc’s Fond. Since the children seldom had opportunities to have such fun and go for a picnic, this would be a worth remembering memory for them.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Phuc, Phuc’s Fond Director, shared: “For other children, such fun activities are normal but with these orphans and poor children, this is a rare occasion for them. Looking at how they watched the movie and enjoyed the food filled our hearts with full of happiness. We look forward to bringing more joy to them”.

On this occasion, Phuc’s Fond awarded 30 scholarships to 30 students in the “Lighting up dreams” scholarship program, which is worth 1 million dongs each, to help them prepare for the coming school year.

The summer picnic program for orphans and poor students has been reportedly organized annually by Phuc’s Fond since 2012.
