Poetry on Hue royal architecture through Truc Chi art
It is the theme of an exhibition held on April 25 at the Corridor - the Great Palace Gate (the Citadel) in response to Hue Festival 2018.
Introducing poems in Chinese characters inscribed on Truc Chi
The exhibition "Poetry on Hue royal architecture through Truc Chi art" is a combination of two types of art, including poetic calligraphy on royal architecture and Truc Chi art.
Painters and Truc Chi artists have made an effort to reproduce the painting strokes and mosaics by ancient artisans through the art of paper. This rendition also combines with the royal designs to create new aesthetic values for the word pictures on Truc Chi.
"28 works of Truc Chi are equivalent to 28 poems and stanzas on the theme of national pride, praise for peace and prosperity, national landscape, etc. The exhibition brings a message about the value of symbiosis culture, from the ancient art to develop into a new creative form of art. Above all, it is the traditional beauty which is always emphasized and reminded with successive generations," said Dr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the Hue Ancient Capital Relic Preservation Center.
