The program was directed by the Ao dai designer Viet Bao. In addition to the collections of five-paneled Ao Dai and ao dai in traditional and modern styles, the program also introduced the collection "Ao Dai and cinema" by the designer Vo Quang Phat.
The 26 special ao dai designs were inspired by posters of the films competing in the 22nd Vietnam Film Festival, such as: "Dreamy Eyes", "The Camellia Sisters V", "Kiều", "I am mine", and by the beauty of Hue heritage as movie settings. This is a unique combination between Ao Dai and cinema, honoring the costume’s presence in Vietnamese cinema.
