Release of Book about a Celebrity: Mr. Tran Đinh Ba
On June 10, a book about Mr. Tran Dinh Ba, (1867-1933), a "historical-cultural great figure of Hue" was introduced to a large number of cultural researchers in Hue at the Museum of Commissioned Patterned Porcelain in the Nguyen Dynasty (at 114 Mai Thuc Loan Str., Hue City).
Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh Nam is the chief author of the book, which is published by Hong Duc Publishing House.
The Museum of Commissioned Patterned Porcelain in the Nguyen Dynasty, where the book was introduced, was formerly the private home of Mr. Tran Dinh Ba, a high-ranking mandarin of the Nguyen Dynastry. He is Mr. Tran Dinh Son’s great-grandfather, who is also a researcher and the owner of the museum.
In two sections with more than 300 pages, the book gives the general information about Mr. Tran Dinh Ba’s homeland, life and career as well as the objective assessments and the tangible heritage he left.
