Releasing more than 1,800 mature tiger shrimp into Thuan An sea
It was an activity in response to the World Biodiversity Day on May 22, organized by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development on the morning of May 21.
Shrimp were released into the sea
Accordingly, the activity of releasing more than 1,800 mature black tiger shrimp into Thuan An sea area aimed to supply the parent tiger shrimp population, create favorable conditions for aquatic species to grow, regenerate and develop in order to balance the ecosystem environment. This meaningful activity was also a message to all fishermen, students to join hands to propagate and protect aquatic resources.
It is known that, on average, the agricultural sector organizes the regeneration of aquatic resources with the quantity of nearly 200,000 breeding aquatic species annually of all kinds; in which the State budget supports about 130,000, the rest are from socialized budget of businesses, organizations and fishermen communities.
