Restoration project of the tomb relic of Emperor Gia Long appraised

TTH.VN - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued a document on the appraisal of the renovation and restoration project of the tombs, the technical infrastructure, and landscape inside the tomb relic of Emperor Gia Long.

Accordingly, the Ministry agreed upon the project’s components, including preserving and restoring Thoai Thanh tomb, Thoai Thanh temple, Hoang Co tomb, Quang Hung tomb, Vinh Mau tomb, and Truong Phong tomb. Alongside with that, the greeneries, technical infrastructure, and fence systems will also be renovated.

The Ministry emphasized the importance of continuing the collection of documents and photos to serve the restoration of lost architectural components on the gates, steps, and decorations on the guarding screens of these monuments. Also, the type and size of the tiles for restoration work must be clearly specified.
