Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the History Museum have proposed to recognize the national treasures for two objects which are "Ngu kien Thien Mu Tu" stele and Champa Linh Thai tower's pyramid and base.

As part of Vesak 2562, on the morning of May 20, the organization board performed the rite of launching seven giant lotus lanterns onto the Perfume River at the area behind Quoc Hoc stele (Le Loi street, Hue city).

Thieu Tri became King in 1840, but passed away 7 years later (on November 11th, 1847) at the age of 41. The successor, King Tu Duc started the construction of the tomb for King Thieu Tri on February 11th, 1848 with the participation of thousands of workers and soldiers.

After the establishment of the Nguyen Dynasty in 1802, Emperor Gia Long, the first king of the Nguyen dynasty, as well as his successors including Emperor Minh Mang, Emperor Thieu Tri developed many effective policies to improve the agrarian economy. Of those, agricultural water management practices were given the top priority.
