Seven more Hue garden houses approved for restoration

TTH.VN - The Provincial People's Committee has just announced the Decision No. 2993/QD-UBND to approve seven more Hue garden houses to join in the project of "Policies to support the protection and promotion of typical Hue garden houses’ value".

Accordingly, seven typical Hue garden houses are approved to participate in the second phase of the project, including: the Ton That’s clan ancestral house (Ton That Hung) located at 7/72 Than Van Nhiep street, Thuy Bieu ward; the garden house of Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong (Sum Vien) located at 313 Bui Thi Xuan, Phuong Duc ward (typical Hue garden house type 1); the garden house of Mr. Nguyen Van Trong located at 28 Phu Mong street, Kim Long ward; the garden house of Mr. Ton That Phuong at 47 Luong Quan street, Thuy Bieu ward; the garden house of Mr. Ton That Nghe at 5/310 Ly Nam De street, Huong Long ward (typical Hue garden house type 2); the garden house of  Mr. Hoang Trong Sang at 101 Nguyet Bieu street, Thuy Bieu ward; and the garden house of  Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tam at 31 Nguyen Binh Khiem street, Phu Cat ward (typical Hue garden house type 3).

The support fund to restore and embellish the garden houses of category 1 does not exceed VND 700 million; the garden houses of category 2 does not exceed VND 500 million; and not more than VND 400 million for the garden houses of category 3. According to the goals set by the Provincial People's Council, the province will have supported and restored about 25-40 typical Hue garden houses by 2020.
