Striving to gather 300 digital technology enterprises by 2025
The People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province has recently issued a plan for developing digital technology enterprises in the period of 2021-2025 and a vision for 2030.
According to the plan, by 2025, the entire province will strive to gather 300 digital technology enterprises. The types of digital technology enterprises that need to be focused on development include large commercial and service corporations and enterprises in socio-economic fields, shifting their operations to digital technology and investing in research on core technology, which set up their branches in Thua Thien Hue Province; the information technology enterprises which have affirmed their brands, undertaking pioneering missions in researching, developing and mastering digital technology and are proactive in production; the start-ups applying digital technology to create new products and services in socio-economic sectors and fields; and the start-ups with innovation in digital technology.
By 2030, Thua Thien Hue aims to have about 500 digital technology enterprises. The Plan No. 86 also implements solutions related to incentive policies for enterprise development, including digital technology enterprises.
