Thua Thien Hue Association of Fine Arts awards the annual fine arts prizes to the artists

The exhibition introduced to the public 68 fine arts works by 60 artists, from the old members to the newly admitted ones. Most of the fine arts works are newly created, including many kinds of fine arts such as: painting, graphics, sculpture, and installation, etc. They are done on a variety of materials, including acrylic, oil painting, lacquer painting, silk, graphic printing, watermark, leaf and flowers, Truc Chi art, and wood, etc.

The exhibition not only is diverse in terms of materials and shaping techniques, but also shows a variety of expression styles, from abstract, semi-abstract to stereoscopic, impressive, realistic, and even the languages of design by the art of sculptural installation. Though this is not the whole, these fine arts works present the convergence of full typical nuances of Hue fine arts.

On this occasion, Thua Thien Hue Association of Fine Arts awarded the annual fine arts prizes to three fine arts works, including: “Chân dung” ("Portrait") by artist Vu Duy Tam, “Nơi hoang dã” ("Wild place") by artist Dang Toan, and “Hạnh duyên” ("Happiness and charm") by artist Nguyen Anh Duong; in which, the two fine arts works “Chân dung” and “Nơi hoang dã” are nominated for the prizes of Thua Thien Hue Literature and Arts in 2020.
