The resonance of gongs
TTH.VN - On the evening of July 12, the event “Cultural beauty – Nam Dong people 2019” officially opened, attracting the participation of thousands of people in the district area and the surrounding localities.
According to Mr. Tran Quoc Phung, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Nam Dong district, this is an activity to preserve and promote the traditional and cultural values which are connected with the activities of economic development, tourism development, especially the community culture tourism, and ecotourism of Nam Dong mountainous district.
In the space of the opening ceremony, in addition to enjoying the specialties, audiences also had a chance to enjoy the special cultural–artistic acts; notably, the performance of gongs imbued with the resonance of mountains and forests of folk artists coming from 6 communes: Thuong Quang, Thuong Long, Huong Son, Huong Huu, Thuong Lo and Thuong Nhat.
