Three students of Hue University of Education receive scholarships at Arizona State University

They are Hoang Thi Khanh Ha, Ho Hoang Hai Nam and Le Phuoc Tri (Students of Advanced Physics class, course 2013 - 2017).

On August 7th, Truong The Quy (M.A.) - Deputy Head of Student Affairs Department in Hue University of Education said that there were 3 students granted the M.S. Tech. scholarship of “Intel Grand Challenges”, which was sponsored by Intel Products Vietnam (IPV) company.

Hoang Thi Khanh Ha, Ho Hoang Hai Nam and Le Phuoc Tri receive scholarships at Arizona State University 

They are Hoang Thi Khanh Ha, Ho Hoang Hai Nam and Le Phuoc Tri (Students of Advanced Physics class, course 2013 - 2017). They will all major in technology and material science in Arizona State University-ASU (The United States). Among them, Hoang Thi Khanh Ha is the only female student who was awarded the scholarship.

With 65,000 USD /scholarship (including full tuition fee and living allowances), the students will study for 1 year at ASU. This is a human resource education scholarship for the “Smart city” project of People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh city, deploying from now to 2025. After finishing the study in the United States, these research students will be back to Ho Chi Minh city to participate in developing projects in many fields such as: traffic management, urban environmental management, human resource enhancement, administrative reform, e-government, urban development,… to improve the economic growth’s quality and competitive ability for the city.
