Thua Thien Hue College of Education receives certificates of merit from chiefs of Sekon, Champasak, Savanakhet provinces (Laos)
On October 14, Thua Thien Hue College of Education held a ceremony celebrating 15 years of training and management of overseas Lao students studying in the province (2002 - 2017).
Thua Thien Hue College of Education’s staff and 3 individuals receive certificates of merit from Chairman of Thua Thien Hue People’s Committee
Attending the ceremony were Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Mr. Nguyen Dung, Deputy Consul General of Lao PDR in Da Nang Mr. In tha Vong Pha Chanh, Lao delegates and Lao students in Hue.
Since the academic year 2002 – 2003, Thua Thien Hue College of Education has been in charge of teaching Vietnamese language and managing nearly 1,100 Lao students. At the end of the academic year 2016-2017, there were 497 graduated Lao students. Besides teaching, this college also organized many other activities such as: organizing research trips, field trips; cultural, music and sport activities on the occasion of celebrating public holidays of the two countries Vietnam – Laos; contributing to the development of friendly relations between the two nations Vietnam - Laos.
At the celebration, Thua Thien Hue College of Education received the certificates of merit from the chiefs of Sekon, Champasak, Savanakhet provinces (Laos) because of its many contributions to the management and training of overseas Lao students. On this occasion, Chairman of Thua Thien Hue People’s Committee also presented the certificates of merit to Thua Thien Hue College of Education’s staff and 3 individuals having great achievements in the training and management of overseas Lao students.
