Thua Thien Hue Newspaper won the C Prize at the 15th National Press Award 2020 - for the entry "Landslide in Rào Trăng 3 Hydropower Plant: Pain and Lessons." This information has just been confirmed by the National Press Award Council at the press conference on the award results in Hanoi.
The awarded entry is a 3-section longform article on the electronic version of Thua Thien Hue Newspaper, written by a group of authors. This article also won the first prize of the Hải Triều Press Award in 2021.
The closing ceremony of the 2nd Hải Triều Press Award 2021 took place on June 18th at the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province. This year, 62 works have passed the preliminary round of Hải Triều Press Award. The organizers have chosen to award 26 works in several categories: television, print newspaper, online newspaper, and photojournalism. Among these, Thua Thien Hue newspaper has 10 winning works.
