Thua Thien Hue province hosts a stamps exhibition themed “Hue - Tourism - Heritage”
On the morning of April 27th, the provincial Stamp Association launched a stamp exhibition themed “Hue - Tourism - Heritage”.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Thien Dinh and stamp lovers are visiting the exhibition space
Taking place from April 27th to May 2nd, the stamp exhibition would contribute to diversifying and refreshing Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2019 from April 26th to May 2nd and welcoming the 44th anniversary of the National Reunification and the International Labour Day (May 1st).
Participants at the exhibition launching ceremony included Mr. Phan Thien Dinh – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, representatives of provincial departments and sectors, members of stamps clubs and departments of the provincial Post Office.
Viewing precious stamp collections at the exhibition
The exhibition displayed 32 stamp frames of 10 collections, including stamps, accessories, envelopes, post cards… on the themes of Hue, tourism and heritages of Hue and Vietnam
Stamps printed since the Indochina period (before the year of 1945) were also displayed in order to introduce Hue’s culture and history manifested through stamps and envelopes. In addition, the exhibition included special stamp collections such as the “tile-roofed bridge”, Hue’s Royal court music, Hue’s culture from the Nguyen Dynasty, or envelopes from the Annam period…
