Thua Thien Hue ranks 16/63 on administrative reform index
According to the result of the Public Administrative Reform Index 2018 (PAR Index) announced by the Government Steering Committee for Administrative Reform, Thua Thien Hue province ranks 16th nationwide, up 7 grades in the ranking compared to 2017.

PAR result 2018 of provinces and cities are divided into 4 groups: Group A (over 80%); group B (75-80%); group C (70-75%) and group D (less than 70%). Thua Thien Hue belongs to group B with the index of 79.00%.
Quang Ninh continues to hold the leading position in the ranking with the result of 89.06%, 5.08% higher than Hanoi, the second ranked unit, at 83.98%.
In Thua Thien Hue, in the coming time, the agencies, units and localities will step up the administrative procedures in all sectors, eliminate troubled administrative procedures for people and businesses, as well as create a fair, convenient and transparent business environment.
At the same time, they would overcome the delay and blame each other; reduce negativity and harassment in the process of handling affairs for organizations and individuals, in order to improve provincial competitiveness, attract investment, mobilize and effectively use all resources to promote socio-economic development.
Thua Thien Hue is striving to reach the top 10 nationwide in PAR index 2019.
