"Thua Thien Hue youth with homeland’s sea and islands"
It was the theme of the program organized by the Provincial Youth Union on September 16 at Hue University of Economics.

At the program, nearly 100 paintings and photos of the sea, islands and national flags used in 21 islands in the Spratly Islands were displayed to guests and youth union members.
Along with the exhibition, youth union members and students were trained to improve knowledge of sea and islands. The youth union members and presenters discussed issues related to sea and islands, such as the importance of sea and islands; international rules and regulations on the sea; and the protection of marine environment, etc.

This activity is aimed to continue strengthening and raising awareness among officials, youth union members and students on Vietnam’s sea and islands, contributing to the protection of national sovereignty, sovereign and jurisdiction rights over the sea; and to raise sense of responsibility in environmental protection, marine economic development and observance of law on sea and islands.
