Thua Thien Hue Department of Culture and Information said that it was planning to build a dossier of "Hue Singing art" to submit to UNESCO for its recognition as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

The art of Bai Choi recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity

At 15:10 on December 7, 2017 (Vietnam time), at the twelfth session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage taking place in Jeju Island, Republic of Korea, the art of Bai Choi in Central Vietnam was officially added to the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
