Tourist routes in Huong Tra town surveyed

The Department of Tourism just coordinated with the People's Committee of Huong Tra town to organize a survey trip for tourism products in the locality on October 6th. The delegation included local tourism businesses and tourism experts.

This was part of the initiative to implement the tourism and service development program in Thua Thien Hue province in 2022, including communication and promotion activites. New products and destinations in the localities of the province would be introduced to diversify tourism product types.

In Huong Tra town, the survey delegation experienced agricultural tourism, watched the process of making rice cakes by Huong Chu local people; visit Vietgap guava farm model and experience caring and harvesting guava in Huong Xuan; visit Van Cu noodle village; and admire the view of Tho Son Lake at sunset.

After the survey tour, the delegation would make evaluations, analysis, and suggestions to improve the available tourism products in the locality for future exploitation.
