Transferring advanced endoscopic techniques to doctors from the Philippines
On September 25-29, DOHA & Medical Training Center in collaboration with Pediatric Surgery-Abdominal Emergency Department of Hue Central Hospital have organized a course to train and transfer advanced techniques in endoscopic surgery to 6 doctors from the Philippines.
Endoscopic techniques transferred in the operating room at Hue Central Hospital
Attending the training course, Philippine doctors are introduced to theories and exchange actual practice experiences on cases in the operating rooms, especially advanced and complex techniques in endoscopic surgery such as cutting esophagus, colon, stomach... and daily cases of emergency, as well as participate in extracurricular activities in the hospital...
Assoc. Prof. Pham Nhu Hiep, Director of Hue Central Hospital said that transferring new medical technology abroad is the regular work at Hue Central Hospital. Since 2012, the hospital has organized about 20 courses on advanced and complex techniques in endoscopic surgery for more than 150 doctors from the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Japan.
