Universities play an important role in start-up
It is the confirmation of Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Nghia at the conference "Disseminating and grasping thoroughly the content of the implementation of Decision No. 1655/QD-TTg dated October 30, 2017, signed by the Prime Minister on approving the project to support pupils and students to start-up by 2025", which was held at Hue University on the afternoon of August 13.

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Nghia said that in the stages of start-up, which include the idea formation, product development and growth, the role of universities is very important. University is the place equipping learners with knowledge and skills to start-up a business. Any universities that want to exist must focus on the students’ employment: training students not only to be able to get jobs but also to create jobs for themselves and for society.
At the conference, delegates discussed the issues related to how to bring start-up into the training program appropriately and effectively; to distribute and assign officials and lecturers to assist students to start-up in schools; and to form the start-up centers ...
